[General](https://support.pabau.com/en/pabau2/clients?hsLang=en#general) # How to Use the Search Bar in Pabau ## The search bar in Pabau lets you quickly find clients, leads, appointments, invoices, and setup items — all from one place, without navigating through menus. #### Opening the Search Bar The search bar is located at the top of your Pabau screen and displays **"Ask Pabau anything..."** You can open it in two ways: - **Click** on the search bar at the top of the screen - **Press Ctrl K** on your keyboard (the shortcut is shown on the right side of the bar) Once opened, the search panel will expand and show filter tabs and your recent items. ![](https://support.pabau.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-May-13-2026-03-28-21-7508-PM.png?width=658&height=332&name=image-png-May-13-2026-03-28-21-7508-PM.png) #### Searching for Something Type what you're looking for into the search field. The search bar can find: - **Clients** — search by name, email, or other client details - **Leads** — find leads in your pipeline - **Appointments** — locate upcoming or past appointments - **Invoices** — search for specific invoices - **Setup** — find any settings page quickly ![](https://support.pabau.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-May-13-2026-03-29-36-6246-PM.png?width=660&height=283&name=image-png-May-13-2026-03-29-36-6246-PM.png) #### Filtering Results Below the search field, you'll see filter tabs: **Everything · Clients · Leads · Appointments · Invoices · Setup** Click any tab to narrow results to that category.
