[Letters](https://support.pabau.com/en/pabau2/clients?hsLang=en#letters) # How to Use the Letters Page The Letters page brings every letter your clinic has written, for every client, into one list. Use it to see which letters still need typing, checking or sending, to find a letter quickly, and to print, email or assign it without opening each client's card. **NOTE:** The Letters page is available when Letters is switched on for your clinic. See [How to Enable Letters](https://support.pabau.com/en/pabau2/how-to-enable-letters?hsLang=en). **Step 1: Open the Letters Page** 1. In the left sidebar, click **More** (the grid icon near the bottom). 2. Click **Customize** at the bottom of the **More** menu to choose what lives in your sidebar, and keep Letters one click away. **Step 2: Filter Letters by Status** The page is titled **Letters**, with the subtitle "Create, review and send patient letters". The tiles across the top show how many letters sit at each stage of your workflow. 1. Click a tile to show only those letters, and click **All letters** to see everything again. - **All letters**: every letter in your clinic. - **Draft**: letters saved as a draft. - **Awaiting Review**: letters waiting to be checked. Letters saved as **Awaiting proofreading** appear here. - **Awaiting typing**: letters waiting to be typed up, for example from a dictation. - **Awaiting sending**: finished letters that still need to go out. - **Completed**: letters that have been completed. - **Posted**: letters sent in the post through Pabau. Type in **Search by subject…** to find letters by their subject. The search looks at subjects only, not at client names. 2. Use the **Created by**, **Sender** and **Assigned to** dropdowns to show the letters of one team member. Choose **Anyone** to clear a dropdown. The tile counts update to match your search and dropdowns. The columns are **Created** (Today, Yesterday or a number of days ago for the last week, then the date), **Subject**, **Client**, **Sender**, **Created by**, **Assigned to** and **Status**. Click the client's name to open their client card. Small icons at the end of a row show what has already happened to the letter. Hover over an icon to see the details, for example **Printed on** or **Email sent on** with the date, or **Shared** for a letter shared securely. When a dictated letter has a voice note, click the play button to listen to it. To do more, use the row menu: 1. Click the **⋯** button at the end of the row, then choose an action: - **Edit**: open the letter to change it. - **Preview**: see the letter as it will print, with your letterhead. - **Send as email**: open an email to the client with the letter attached as a PDF. - **Print**: print the letter. Pabau records the date it was printed. - **Mark as completed**: set the letter's status to Completed. It shows only on letters that are not completed yet, and it does not send anything. - **Assign**: choose the team member responsible for the letter. - **Activity log**: see when the letter was created, printed, emailed or posted. - **Delete**: remove the letter. Click **Create** at the top right of the page, then type the client's name in **Search contacts…**. 2. Click the client in **Select a contact**.
