[New Client Card](https://support.pabau.com/en/pabau2/new-client-card?hsLang=en) # How to Use the Dynamic Create Menu in the Client Card (New Client Card) ## This guide explains how to use the powerful, time-saving update to the 'Create' button on the client card. The Create menu gives you one place to start anything for the client you’re viewing — emails, SMS, letters, treatment notes, consent forms, lab requests, prescriptions, sales, quotes, activities and education. The menu also adapts to the client on screen: any option that can’t be used yet (for example, emailing a client with no email address on file) appears greyed out, with a short explanation of what’s missing. #### Step 1: Navigate to the Client Card Start by [logging into your Pabau account](http://app.pabau.com) using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the search bar located at the top of the screen and search for your client by typing their name. Use the back arrow to return to the main list. - **Treatment note** — start a new treatment note. - **Consent form** — create a consent form. - **Lab request** — request bloods or diagnostics from a lab. - **Prescription** — prescribe medication with allergy and interaction checks. - **Sale** — take a payment or raise an invoice in the point of sale. - **Quote** — create a quote. You’re taken to the client’s **Financials** \> **Quotes** view, where the new quote appears once saved. - **Activity** — log a call, an email or anything else. - **Education** — send aftercare, precare or any other education. - **Dictation** — record a voice clip (shown only when dictation is enabled for your account). **NOTE:** Emails and SMS open in a compact window, so you can keep working in the client card while you write. Prescriptions and letters open full screen, as they need more space. #### Step 4: Understand Why an Option Is Unavailable If an option is greyed out, hover over it to see why. For example: - **Email** requires an email address on the client’s file. - **SMS** requires both a mobile number and an email address on file. - **Sale** and **Quote** require the matching user permissions for creating invoices and quotes.
