# How to Use the Capture Forms Dashboard

## In this article, you will learn how to use the Capture Forms Dashboard to see how your forms are performing and to pick up new submissions.

**NOTE:** The Dashboard covers every capture form in your account, across all locations. The **Period** you choose changes the five cards and the chart only — the leaderboards and the panels at the bottom are not affected by it.

#### **Step 1: Open The Dashboard**

1. Log in to Pabau.
2. In the left sidebar, go to **Marketing → Capture Forms**.
3. Capture Forms opens on the **Dashboard** tab.

From the Dashboard header you can also use **Form Sharing** to jump straight to the sharing options of any form, or **Create new form** to start a new one.

#### **Step 2: Choose A Period**

1. Click the date range under **Period**. By default it shows the last 7 days, including today.
2. Pick a preset — **Today**, **Yesterday**, **Last 7 days**, **Last 30 days**, **This month** or **Year to date** — or select a start and end date on the calendar.
3. The cards and the **Performance summary** chart update to the dates you chose.

#### **Step 3: Read The Five Cards**

Each card shows a total for the chosen period, added up across all your forms:

- **Views** — the number of times a published form was loaded. Every page load counts, so one person opening a form three times adds three views. It is not a count of unique visitors.
- **Interactions** — the number of times a visitor started filling in a form, counted when they first click into a field.
- **Submissions** — the number of submissions received across all your forms.
- **Average Filling Time** — the average time between a visitor first clicking into a field and submitting the form. Only newer submissions carry a filling time, so older submissions are left out of the average, and any single submission counts for at most 2 hours. If no submission in the period has a filling time, the card shows 0s.
- **Abandons** — interactions that did not end in a submission (Interactions minus Submissions, never less than zero).

Under each number, the card also shows a percentage with a rate bar.

**NOTE:** Views and interactions are only recorded while a form's status is **Active**.

#### **Step 4: Use The Performance Summary Chart**

The **Performance summary** chart shows one stacked bar per day of the chosen period, split into **Users** (views), **Starters** (interactions) and **Conversions** (submissions). Hover over a bar to see the day's totals. For long periods, the chart shows the most recent 92 days.

#### **Step 5: Check The Leaderboards**

Three leaderboards show your top five forms. Click a form name to open its **Form Analytics**.

- **Most Visited Forms** — ranked by views.
- **Most Starts** — ranked by interactions.
- **Most Conversions** — ranked by submissions.

**IMPORTANT:** The leaderboards are all-time totals. They do not change when you change the **Period**.

#### **Step 6: Pick Up Recent Activity**

The three panels at the bottom always show the latest activity, whatever period you have chosen:

- **Last Updated** — the five forms edited most recently. Click a name to open it in the builder.
- **New Submissions** — the five newest submissions that nobody has opened yet. Click one to open that form's **Submissions**. Once a submission has been opened, it is marked as read and leaves this panel.
- **Submit Form** — the five newest submissions across all your forms, read or unread, shown by form name.
