[New Client Card](https://support.pabau.com/en/pabau2/new-client-card?hsLang=en) # How to Track GLP-1 Treatment on the Client Card The GLP-1 tab brings a client's weight-loss treatment together on the client card: every dose of semaglutide or tirzepatide your clinic has recorded, their weight and BMI over time, check-ins they send from the client portal, your review notes and their next review appointment. Pabau finds the doses wherever your team already records them, so there's nothing extra to fill in. **NOTE:** GLP-1 tracking is a clinic feature that you switch on yourself, and it lives on the new client card. Only admins can change the GLP-1 setup. Staff who can see prescriptions on the client card can see the GLP-1 tab. **Step 1: Switch On GLP-1 for Your Clinic** Go to **Setup → Business Details**. 1. Click **Features**. 2. Find **GLP-1** (“Track GLP-1 treatment on the client record: doses, weight, check-ins from the client portal and reviews.”) and switch it on. Open the client's card and click **EMR** in the bar along the top. In the United States this is called **Chart**. 2. Click the **GLP-1** card. Its second line tells you where the client is at a glance, for example **11 weeks on GLP-1**, **Not started** or **Stopped after 12 weeks**. ![The EMR section of a client card with the GLP-1 card reading 11 weeks on GLP-1](https://support.pabau.com/hubfs/Pabau%202%20Knowledge%20Base/kb/gap-2026-10/490355147992-02-emr-glp1-tile.png) *The GLP-1 card shows how long the client has been on treatment* You can also pick **GLP-1** from the menu under the **EMR** button. **Step 3: Open the GLP-1 Setup** The setup tells Pabau which drugs, forms and appointments belong to GLP-1 treatment. It is one setup for the whole clinic, so you only do this once, from any client's card. Until it's done, the tab shows **Set up GLP-1 tracking**. 1. Click **Configure** at the top of the tab. To ask again later: 1. Click **Suggest with AI**. 2. Read the suggestions at the top of the window (“Suggested from your clinic's records. Check each setting before saving:”). Nothing is saved until you click **Save**, and it never creates or changes your forms. It only uses the names of your forms, questions, medicines, products and services, never client details. **Step 4: Check the Settings and Save** 1. **Drug names**: the words Pabau looks for in prescriptions, sales, Record usage, the medication list and review notes, for example *mounjaro*, *tirzepatide*, *wegovy* or *semaglutide*. Leave it empty to use the common GLP-1 drug names. 2. **Review forms**: the treatment forms your clinicians use for GLP-1 reviews. **Record review** opens these, and every saved version of each form counts. 3. **Question recording the dose given**: the question on your review form where the clinician writes the dose, for example “Mounjaro 5mg”. Its answer is plotted as a dose. 4. **Review appointments**: the services you book GLP-1 reviews under. Choose a **Check-in form** there if you want to use check-ins, then click **Save**. You'll see **GLP-1 setup saved**. **IMPORTANT:** A dose only appears if it is recorded under one of your **Drug names**, or in the dose question of one of your **Review forms**. A sale or form answer with no readable dose (for example just “Mounjaro pen”) is left out. Notes restricted to certain staff are never included. **Step 5: Read the Overview** The **Overview** puts the whole treatment on one screen: 1. **Current weight**, **Weight change** (compared with the weight recorded when treatment started), **Current BMI** and **Waist**. Pabau reads these from the forms your team completes for the client, whatever the question is called, as long as the answer is a realistic value. Questions about a target or goal weight are ignored. 2. **Progress over time** charts the dose from every place it was recorded, together with the client's weight, including the weights they send in their check-ins. Markers show when treatment started and each change of dose. Hover over a point to see any photos the client added. 3. A one-line summary, for example “On Mounjaro 7.5 mg: 3 weeks at this dose, 11 weeks on treatment.” It also tells you when a check-in is waiting for review. 4. **Current treatment**: the drug and dose, how often and how it's given, **Treatment started**, **Time on treatment**, **On this dose since** and **Last dose recorded**. The bar along the bottom shows the drug's dose steps, with the current one highlighted. The **Active** or **Inactive** badge follows the status of the client's GLP-1 prescription. 5. **Patient check-in**: the client's latest check-in from the client portal. It reads **To review** until a clinician records a review after it, then **Reviewed**. Click **Open check-in** to read it in full. 6. **Next review**: the client's next booking for one of your review appointments, with **View appointment**. Click **Record review**. A new note opens on your review form, ready to fill in. Ask an admin to choose them in **Configure**. **Step 7: See the Full History** 1. When the same dose is recorded in several places within a few days (for example a prescription and a review note on the same visit), it appears once with all its labels.
