Each visitor sees one language, picked automatically, and can switch to another at any time. This guide explains which languages are available, how the language is chosen, and how to set a default for your clinic. **NOTE:** This guide covers the new Online Bookings and Client Portal, which are being rolled out to clinics in phases. If your screens look different, your account may still be on the classic version — message us via the in-app chat and we will help. **The Languages Available** English, English (US), English (AU), Français, Español, Deutsch, Italiano, Português, Nederlands, Polski, العربية (Arabic), Български (Bulgarian), Čeština, Dansk, Ελληνικά (Greek), Suomi, עברית (Hebrew), Hrvatski, Magyar, Bahasa Indonesia, 한국어 (Korean), Lietuvių, Norsk, Română, Русский (Russian), Slovenščina, Svenska, ไทย (Thai), Türkçe, Українська (Ukrainian) and Tiếng Việt. Arabic and Hebrew text reads from right to left. **How Each Visitor’s Language Is Chosen** Pabau works down this list and uses the first one that applies: 1. The language the visitor picked themselves from the language menu on your booking page or in the client portal. 2. If they are signed in, the **Preferred language** on their client record. 3. Your booking page’s **Default language**, set in Pabau Studio (Step 1 below). 4. Your account’s **Default account language** in **Setup → Business Details**. 5. The language of the visitor’s web browser. 6. Otherwise, English. **IMPORTANT:** The default only decides what a first-time visitor sees. It never overrides a language a client has picked themselves or the preferred language on their client record. So if you set French but a client chose English, they keep seeing English. **Step 1: Set Your Booking Page’s Default Language** 1. Go to **Setup → Online presence → Online Bookings**, click **Customise page**, then click **Branding** at the top of Studio. 2. Choose a language, or leave it on **Auto** (**Account default, else the visitor's browser**). Auto skips straight to your account language and then the browser’s language. 2. On your booking page and online store, clients click the language menu at the top right. It shows a globe and the current language code, for example **EN**. 2. Either way, their choice is remembered on that device and used everywhere on your booking page, store and portal. **NOTE:** Text you write yourself, such as service names and descriptions, category names, policies and announcements, appears exactly as you typed it.
