[Medical Forms Components & Fields](https://support.pabau.com/en/pabau2/clinical?hsLang=en#medical-forms-components-fields) # How to Send Education from a Treatment Note The **Education** form component lets clinicians email aftercare advice, exercises and other education to the client while they write a treatment note. The note keeps a dated line for every item sent, so anyone reading it later can see exactly what the client was given. **NOTE:** The Education component can only be added to forms whose one and only type is **Treatment Form**. Education is sent by email when the note is written on the client card, so the client needs an email address on file. **Step 1: Add the Education Component to a Treatment Form** 1. Go to **Setup**, click **Forms** under Clinical and open your treatment form. 2. On the **Components** tab, find **Education** in the **Medical** group and drag it onto the form. You can also click it to add it to the end of the form. 3. Click the component on the form to open its settings. The **Question** is set to **Education provided**; change it if you like, then click **Save component**. 4. Open the client’s card, click the blue **+** button, choose **Treatment note** and pick the form. 2. Find the items you want: type in **Search for a template**, or filter by **Source** (Pabau’s ready-made templates or your own **Library**), **Business type** and **Send Timing**. Click an item to select it; you can select several. 2. Click **Send**. Click **Add Item** to create it, or **Manage** to edit your library, without leaving the note. **Step 4: Check the Record in the Note** Each item you send is added to the Education provided field as its own line, with the name and the date it was sent, for example **Front Plank w/Alt. Weight Shift (sent 14/10/2026)**.
