How to Sell a Gift Voucher to a Walk In Client

In this article, you’ll learn how to sell a gift voucher to a walk-in client, a client who doesn't have a profile in your system. This is a quick way to sell vouchers on the spot without needing to create a full client record.

Step 1: Open the Point of Sale

First, log in to your Pabau account. At the top of the screen, click the "Create" button and select Sale. This will take you to the Point of Sale screen.

Step 2: Select Walk-in 

On the right-hand side of the POS screen, click the "Walk In" option.
This allows you to complete the transaction without linking it to an existing client profile. The purchase will still be recorded and can be found later using reports.

Step 3: Add the gift voucher to the sale

Next, click on the "Gift" tab on the left-hand side of the POS window.
Choose the gift voucher the client would like to purchase. Once selected, it will be added to the cart on the right-hand side.

Step 4: Complete the sale

Click the Continue button at the bottom right of the screen.
Select the payment method, confirm the amount, and click Confirm Payment to complete the transaction.

After payment is processed, the system will generate an invoice and assign a voucher code to the gift voucher.

Although walk-in clients don’t have a full profile in the system, their voucher purchase is still recorded. You can locate their voucher code and balance anytime by running the Vouchers Outstanding Balance report.
