How to Resolve an Invoice Showing as Unpaid After a Klarna Payment

In this article, we will walk you through why a Klarna payment may not reflect on an invoice, and the steps to resolve it.

In some cases, your invoice may still appear as Unpaid in Pabau even though you've successfully completed your payment with Klarna.

This can happen if the payment process isn't fully completed in Pabau. The sections below explain why this happens, how to resolve it, and how to help prevent it in the future.

Why This Happens

After Klarna approves your payment, you're automatically redirected back to Pabau. During this final step, Pabau records your payment against the invoice.

If you close your browser or payment tab before the redirect is complete, your payment may not be recorded against the invoice, causing it to continue showing as Unpaid.

 How to Resolve It

If your invoice still shows as Unpaid after completing your Klarna payment:

  • Confirm that your payment was successfully completed in Klarna.
  • Refresh the invoice in Pabau to check whether the payment has been applied.
  • If the invoice still shows as Unpaid, contact the Pabau Support team and provide:
    • Your invoice number.
    • Confirmation that your Klarna payment was successful (for example, a screenshot from Klarna).

  • Wait for the payment process to finish after Klarna approves your payment
