How to Manage the Client Card in the Pabau GO iOS App

The Client Card in the Pabau GO app gives you a complete view of a client's profile. This article will walk you through everything you can see and do from the Client Card.

Step 1: Log in to the Pabau GO App

Open the Pabau GO app on your iPhone or iPad and sign in using your email address and password. Tap Sign In to access your account.

Step 2: Find a Client

Tap Clients in the bottom navigation bar. Use the search bar at the top to search for a client by name, email, or mobile number. Tap the client's name to open their full Client Card.

NOTE: You can also long-press on a client in the search results to access quick actions — View Profile, Upload photos, Treatment note, Medical History, Patient Consent, Add Prescription, and Sale — without opening the full client card.

Step 3: View the Client Card Overview

The Client Card is split into two panels:

Left panel — Client summary

The left panel shows the client's key information at a glance:

  • Profile photo (tap the camera icon to update it)
  • Full name and an Edit button to update their details
  • Labels (e.g. Influencer, Big Spender)
  • Phone number, email address, and home address
  • Medical History — shows the most recently completed medical history form and when it was last updated
  • Alerts — any clinical alerts flagged for this client
  • Allergies — a list of known allergies and their reactions. Tap + to add a new allergy

Right panel — Tabbed content

The right panel contains multiple tabs with detailed client information. Swipe left or right to navigate between them.

Step 4: Personal Tab

The Personal tab shows a full breakdown of the client's profile:

  • Insights — Total visits, no-show count, and total revenue generated by this client
  • Details — Client ID, salutation, first and last name, date of birth, gender, address, and preferred provider
  • Relationships — Linked individuals such as practitioners, family members, or guardians. Tap + Add to link a new relationship
  • Insurance Provider — Any insurance providers linked to this client
  • Payment Methods — Saved payment methods on file

Step 5: Appointments Tab

The Appointments tab shows a full history of all bookings for this client, split across three sub-tabs:

  • All bookings — Every appointment, with date, time, service, location, staff member, and status (e.g. Waiting)
  • Cancelled — Any cancelled appointments
  • No Shows — Appointments the client did not attend

Step 6: EMR Tab

The EMR (Electronic Medical Records) tab contains all clinical documentation for this client, organised across sub-tabs:

  • Forms — All forms completed by or for the client, including treatment notes, consent forms, and questionnaires. Forms in draft are highlighted in orange. Tap to expand and view any form
  • Treatments — A record of treatments carried out
  • Prescriptions — Any prescriptions written for this client
  • Lab Requests — Lab requests associated with this client
  • Allergies — A detailed view of the client's allergy record

Use the search bar at the top of the Forms tab to find a specific form quickly.

Step 7: Financials Tab

The Financials tab shows the client's full financial history, split across two sub-tabs:

  • Invoices — A list of all invoices, showing amount, invoice number, date, and status (Paid or Unpaid). Filter by status or date using the buttons at the top. Tap any invoice to view the full details
  • Payments — A record of all payments made by this client

The client's current account balance is displayed as a green button in the top right corner of the screen (e.g. £1000.00).

Step 8: Notes Tab

The Notes tab shows all internal notes added to this client's profile, including the staff member who added them and the date and time. 

Step 9: Communications Tab

The Communications tab shows a full log of all messages sent to this client — appointment confirmations, invoices, shared forms, and more — with the channel (Email or SMS), date, and a preview of the message content. Tap any entry to view the full message.

Step 10: Activities Tab

The Activities tab shows any tasks or follow-up actions logged against this client, including the activity type, description, and due date.

Step 11: Memberships, Packages, and Gift Vouchers Tabs

  • Memberships — Shows any active memberships purchased by this client
  • Packages — Shows active and expired packages, including how many sessions have been used, the expiry date, and the value per session
  • Gift Vouchers — Shows active and expired gift vouchers, including the voucher code, total value, remaining balance, purchase date, and expiry date

Step 12: Creating Records from the Client Card

Tap the + button in the bottom right corner of any tab to create a new record directly from the client card.

You can create:

  • Communication — Send an email, SMS, or letter
  • Appointment — Book a new appointment
  • Treatment note — Create a treatment note
  • Consent Form — Create a consent form
  • Problem — Document a medical problem
  • Prescription — Write a prescription
  • Sale — Create a transaction
  • Quote — Create a quote
  • Activity — Log a call, email, or task
  • Document — Upload or scan a document
  • Photo — Take or upload a photo

Step 13: Additional Options

Tap the bell icon at the top of the client card to manage notification preferences for this client.

To update a client's communication preferences — including marketing channels (SMS, Email, Phone, Postal) and privacy policy consent. Select the relevant options and tap Save Changes.

Tap the three dots (...) icon at the top right to access additional options, including Delete client.
