How to Know When a Magic Link Will Expire in Pabau

This article explains how long your clients have access to their links and when to resend them.

Magic links in Pabau are secure, one-time-use links that allow your clients to take specific actions, like filling out forms, confirming bookings, or accessing documents. Each type of magic link has a different expiry timeframe depending on what it’s used for.

Here’s a breakdown of the expiry times for each type:

View Invoice

If you send a client an invoice link, they’ll have 30 days to access it before the link expires.

View Form

If a client receives a link to view a medical form, they'll have 30 days to access it before expiration.

Appointment Related Form

If the link is tied to an appointment, like a form that needs to be completed before the visit or a link to view, confirm, cancel, or reschedule the appointment, it will expire 7 days after the appointment date.

View Document

A document viewing link also stays active for 30 days.

Online Booking Link

If the client is given a link to access the online booking system or join the waitlist, that link will also last for 30 days.

Reset Password Link

And if someone needs to reset their Connect password, the magic link they receive will expire quickly, in just 20 minutes, for security reasons.

NOTE: If a form needs to be completed but the link has expired, you can easily resend the form to the same client via email.
