How to Issue a Gift Voucher to Clients

Step 1: Access the Point of Sale

Start by logging in to your Pabau account using your login credentials. Click the Create button at the top of the page next to the search bar and select "Sale" to access the Point of Sale.

Initially, you should select the client at the top right corner of the page for the features to become available for selection. Otherwise, they will remain greyed out until you select the client.

The Gift Voucher option appears at the left corner of the page. 

Step 2: Sell Gift Voucher

When you click "Gift," the gift vouchers you have created in Pabau will appear.

Clicking on a gift voucher opens a pop-up where you can set up the voucher before adding it to the cart. The following options are available:

• Purchase price – the amount the client pays for the voucher
• Adjust expiration – change how long the voucher stays valid
• Code – the 9-digit code printed on the gift card and entered on redemption. Click Regenerate to issue a new one
• Recipient – defaults to the client being charged. Click Gift to someone else to assign the voucher to a different client
• Add a personalized note – include a message on the voucher
• Preview – shows how the voucher will look, along with who it's issued by and when it expires. Click View terms to see the voucher's terms
• Add to cart – add the voucher to the client's cart
• Cancel – close the pop-up without adding the voucher

You can then click ''Add to cart'' to proceed with the purchase. Details of the gift voucher will be displayed underneath the client's name. 

If everything looks correct, click the "Continue" button to proceed to the payment page.

On the payment page, you can select the payment method that the client wants to use and click the "Confirm Payment" button to complete the transaction. 

Once the payment is confirmed, you will view all invoice details, where you can select the client name to direct you to their client card to view the voucher. 

Step 3: Navigate to the Client Card

Once you access the client card, switch to the Gift Vouchers tab to view all vouchers the client has purchased. Pabau also categorizes vouchers into Active and Expired vouchers.

By following these steps, you can sell a gift voucher to a client from the checkout.

How to Redeem Gift Vouchers 

Step 1: Navigate to Calendar

Log in to your Pabau account using your login credentials and click on "Calendar" in the left sidebar menu.

Step 2: Access Appointment Checkout

Click on the specific appointment you want to check out, then select "Checkout."

Step 3: Navigate through the Point of Sale

In the Point of Sale, click on "Continue" in the bottom right corner. Select "Vouchers" from the pre-paid payment methods.

Step 4: Redeem Voucher

On this step:

• If the client has vouchers saved on their client card, select the voucher you’d like to redeem for the appointment.

• If there are no vouchers on the client card, enter the voucher code manually in the Voucher Code field.

Then, click the Pay button and confirm the transaction by selecting Confirm Payment.

The appointment has been successfully checked out using the selected voucher. Streamline your payment processes by effortlessly utilizing gift vouchers in Pabau.

How to Use a Gift Voucher to Pay for a Service/Product

Step 1: Accessing the Point of Sale

To begin, log into your Pabau account and navigate to the Point of Sale by clicking on the "Create" button located at the top of the screen. From the options provided, select "Sale."

Step 2: Select Client

Step 3: Select Service/Product

Next, on the left-hand menu, click "Services." Browse through the service categories and click on the service(s) you want to sell. You can also add Products from the "Products" section where all available products will be listed.

Step 4: Finalize Payment 

After you've chosen Gift Vouchers as the appropriate payment method, click "Confirm Payment."

After completing the transaction, the invoice will be generated automatically and it will list the payment methods used.

You can find the invoice later by opening the client’s profile and going to "Financials" > "Invoices."

By following these steps, you can easily sell services or products to clients directly through the Point of Sale and pay using their Gift Vouchers.
