What is Clynxx?
Clynxx is a UK-based digital health platform that enables clinicians and clinics to create and manage electronic private prescriptions that patients can receive instantly via email or SMS. These digital prescriptions comply with UK and EU regulations and can be presented at pharmacies for dispensing, replacing traditional paper prescriptions.
Unlike NHS electronic prescriptions, which are tied to specific government systems, Clynxx focuses on private prescriptions and supports prescribers in generating advanced electronically signed prescriptions that are accepted by pharmacies across the UK and EU.
How to Register for Clynxx
- Visit the Registration Page: Go to clynxx.uk/register.
- Sign Up: Enter your details, including your professional registration number (e.g., GMC or GPhC) and any referral code.
- Verify Identity: Complete a biometric check using a valid government-issued ID (like a passport or driver's license) and a real-time face scan.
- Access Portal: Check your email for one-time login credentials and access your Clynxx portal.

How to Integrate Clynxx with Pabau
Step 1: Navigate to Setup
Start by logging into your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, click the 'Setup' button at the bottom of the left sidebar menu. On the Developer & Other section, find the Labs & Pharmacies tab.
Step 2: Access Pharmacies
After opening the Labs & Pharmacies page, go to the 'Pharmacies' tab to see the available pharmacy integrations.
Step 3: Configure Clynxx
To start setting up the Clynxx integration, click the 'Configure now' button.
Once you click 'Configure now,' a pop-up window will appear. At the top, you’ll see a list of your prescriber employees who have their GMC and registration number included in their profile. You can click on their name to switch between employees.
Below, you can enter the email address registered with Clynxx for the selected clinician, choose whether to charge the £0.99 Clynxx fee to the practice account or the patient, and add the Clynxx chamber token.
Click 'Save' to save the information you just added for the employee.
Step 4: Save Changes
To save your changes and complete the integration, click 'Ok' at the bottom right corner of the pop-up window.
