[Communications](https://support.pabau.com/en/pabau2/communications?hsLang=en#communications) # How to Insert a Client's Form Answers with Merge Tags Form Answers merge tags pull a client’s answers from the forms they have filled in (consent forms, questionnaires, treatment records) straight into an email. Use them to confirm what a client told you, such as their consent to photographs or their reason for treatment, without retyping it. **Step 1: Open the Merge Tags Window** 1. From the client card, start an email to the client, for example with the **+** button ▸ **Communication** ▸ **Email**. Click **Form Answers** in the list of categories, just below **Form**. It lists every form this client has filled in, with one card per question. 2. Type in **Search answers across all forms…** to find a question, for example “photographs” or “weight”. 3. A window opens for that question. 1. **A recent answer** shows an example taken from a recent form, so you can see what kind of answer the tag will bring in. 2. Click **Latest answer** to use the client’s most recent answer. This is best for things that change, like weight, medication or allergies. 3. Click **First answer** to use the first answer they ever gave. In an email from the client card, Pabau fills in this client’s own answer straight away and highlights it, so you can check it before you send. **Step 4: Add a Whole Form at Once** To include all of a client’s latest answers from one form, click **All Answers Latest** at the top of that form’s cards. It adds every question and the client’s latest answer to each one in a single step. **TIP:** Form Answers also appear when you add merge tags in the form builder (the default value of a long-answer field) and when you build treatment-note macros.
