How to Export Reports

Exporting reports is essential for sharing and using key insights. This guide will take you through a simple, step-by-step process for exporting reports.

Step 1: Navigate to the Analytics feature

Log in to your Pabau account, and in the left sidebar menu, go to Analytics, then click on the "Reports" button.

Step 2: Run or Create a Report

Run a pre-built report or create a custom one based on your specific requirements.

Ensure that the report is generated and displays the insights you want to export.

Step 3: Export the Generated Report

When ready to export, click on the three dots icon positioned in the top right corner of the page, then select the "Export" option.

Step 4: Choose File Format and Initiate Export

After clicking "Export," a menu will appear. Pick the desired file format for the export - Excel (.xlsx), CSV (.csv), or PDF (.pdf).

Once you've chosen the file format, click the "Export" button. The export is prepared in the background, and a confirmation message appears with a link to the Exports page, where you can download the file once it’s ready.

Step 5: Download the Report

Once you've started the report export, open the Exports page — either click the link in the confirmation message, or go to the reports homepage and click "Exports" in the left sidebar. If you’re working from the legacy Analytics page, you can still reach your exports by clicking "Options" in the top right corner and selecting "Exports."

On the Exports page, you'll find all the reports you've started exporting, along with each export’s name, type, status, and creation time. While an export is still being prepared, its status shows as "Processing..."; once it changes to "Ready," simply click "Download."

You can download a report up to 1 hour after exporting it; after that, its status changes to "Expired" and it will no longer be available for download. Note that the Exports page on the new reports homepage only lists exports from the last hour, so expired exports drop off the list.

In addition to exporting, you can also print a report directly from the three-dot menu. Simply select "Print report (Snapshot)" to open a clean, print-ready view of your report in your browser. This allows you to print the report or save it as a PDF using your browser’s print dialog. A "Print (Detailed)" option is also listed in the menu, but it is not yet available.
