How to Connect Facebook Messenger to Engage
How Messenger DMs and ad enquiries reach your inbox and how connection management is changing.
Messages sent to your clinic’s Facebook Page — DMs and ad enquiries — flow into the Engage inbox as conversations under the Facebook channel. This article explains how the connection works and where it is managed.
What the Facebook Channel Brings In
Once your Facebook Page is connected to Pabau, Messenger conversations appear in the inbox alongside SMS and email: each sender becomes a conversation, replies go out as Messenger messages, and the patient panel links senders to client records where they match.

Where the Connection Is Managed
In the new channel settings (Settings → All channels), the Facebook card is marked Soon — its management screen is moving into Engage and will appear there shortly. An existing Facebook Page connection made in Pabau keeps working: conversations continue to arrive in the inbox as before.

Replying to Messenger Conversations
Open the conversation and reply from the composer — the channel pill shows the conversation’s channel. Messenger has its own platform reply rules; see our Replying to Facebook and Instagram Messages in Engage article for the details.
NOTE: Keep your Page’s admin access healthy in Meta Business Manager — a Page whose admin leaves the business is the most common reason Messenger conversations stop arriving.
