How to Configure Settings in the Pabau GO iOS App

The Settings section in the Pabau GO app allows you to configure your calendar, appointment behaviour, app appearance, enabled features, and point of sale. This article walks you through each settings area.

Step 1: Log in to the Pabau GO App

Open the Pabau GO app on your iPhone or iPad and sign in using your email address and password. Tap Sign In to access your account.

Step 2: Navigate to Settings

Tap Menu in the bottom navigation bar. Scroll down to the Setup section and tap Settings.

Step 3: Calendar & Appointments Settings

Tap Configuration, Appointment settings, or Appearance from the left-hand sidebar to configure different aspects of your calendar.

Configuration

Configure your calendar's start and end time and how appointment time slots are structured:

  • Starting day — Choose which day your calendar week starts on (e.g. Monday)
  • Time slot size — Set the size of each time slot in the calendar (e.g. 15 minutes)
  • Start time / End time — Set the working hours displayed on the calendar (e.g. 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
  • Auto lock — Set the app to lock automatically after a period of inactivity. Disabled by default
  • Accept last user's passcode only — When enabled, only the most recently logged-in user's passcode will be accepted to unlock the app
  • Auto-complete appointment status — When enabled, appointment statuses will be automatically updated to completed

Appointment Settings

Control how communication and booking behaviour works across your calendar:

  • Allow appointment overlap — Enables appointments to be booked in overlapping time slots for the same staff member
  • Appointment Reminder (Default) — Pre-selects the appointment reminder notification when creating a new appointment
  • Appointment confirmation (Default) — Pre-selects the appointment confirmation notification when creating a new appointment
  • Request feedback (Default) — Pre-selects the feedback request notification when creating a new appointment

Appearance

Customise how appointment cards look in the calendar:

General

  • Enable staff initials — Display staff initials on appointment cards instead of full names
  • Hide client surnames — Show only first names on appointment cards for privacy
  • Hide appointment times — Remove time information from appointment cards in the calendar view

Font size — Adjust the font size displayed on appointment cards

Appointment display preview — Shows a live preview of how your appointment card will look with the current settings. Tap Edit to customise which fields appear on the card and tooltip. Default fields include Appointment duration, First Name, Service Name, Room, and Appointment Note. Tap + Add new to add additional fields.

Tap Save Changes in the top right corner to apply any changes.


Step 4: Business Features

Tap Features under the Business section to enable or disable individual modules across your Pabau workspace. Toggle each feature on or off. Changes take effect immediately once toggled.

Step 5: POS Configuration

Tap POS Configuration under the Point of Sale section to control which item types appear in your point of sale and how invoices behave.

Item Types — Toggle each item type on or off to control what appears in the POS cart:

  • Services — Enable or disable services in your point of sale
  • Products — Enable or disable products in your point of sale
  • Packages — Enable or disable packages in your point of sale
  • Gift vouchers — Enable or disable gift vouchers in your point of sale
  • Accounts — Enable or disable account payments in your point of sale
  • Loyalty — Enable or disable loyalty points in your point of sale
  • Consumables — Enable or disable consumables in your point of sale
  • Memberships — Enable or disable memberships in your point of sale
  • Show quantity — Show or hide the quantity column on receipts and in the cart

Invoice Settings

  • Invoice reissue date — Choose which date is used when reissuing an invoice. Options are Present date or original invoice date

Tap Save in the top right corner to apply your changes.

Step 6: Guided Tours

Tap Guided Tours under the Help & Tours section for interactive walkthroughs of key features in the app.

Completed tours show a green tick. Tap Replay to watch a tour again, or Reset to mark it as not completed and run it fresh.
