If your screens look different, your account may still be on the classic version — message us via the in-app chat and we will help. In this article, you will learn how to add widgets to your booking page and online store. Widgets are the extra pieces around your booking steps — an announcement bar, a promo banner, featured packages or memberships, the brands you stock, links to your social channels and more — and you choose where and when each one appears. **Step 1: Open the Widgets Panel** Go to **Setup → Online Bookings** and click **Customise page** to open Pabau Studio (see [Part 2](https://support.pabau.com/en/pabau2/new-online-bookings-part-2-customise-and-publish-your-booking-page-in-pabau-studio?hsLang=en) if you are new to Studio). Then: 1. Click **Edit** at the top right. 2. Choose a page from the **Booking pages** strip. **Services** is a good place to start. 3. A widget you add there is set to show on that store page. **Step 2: Add a Widget** 1. Under **Add widget**, click the type of widget you want. It is added to **Your widgets** and opens, ready to fill in. ![The Add widget list in the Widgets panel](https://support.pabau.com/hubfs/Pabau%202%20Knowledge%20Base/kb/obc-2026/489459367153-02-add-widget.png) *The ten widget types under Add widget* | Widget | What clients see | What you fill in | | --- | --- | --- | | **Text card** | A heading and short text on a colour you pick, such as opening hours, parking or your cancellation policy. | Heading, Text, Colours | | **Image banner** | A picture with an optional link, ideal for offers. | Upload image (up to 5 MB) or paste an image address, Where it links, Describe the image | | **Featured packages** | A card listing the packages you pick, with their prices. | Card title, What to feature | | **Featured memberships** | A card listing your membership plans. | Card title, What to feature | | **Bestsellers** | A row of product cards with their photos. | Card title, What to feature | | **Announcement bar** | One line of text, such as delivery, offers or opening hours, with an optional link. | Your announcement, Icon, Link text, Where it links, Colours | | **Brand logos** | A row of the brands or accreditations you want to show. | Heading, up to 12 logos (each with a brand name and an optional link), Fade until hovered, logo size | | **How it works** | Steps explaining how to buy or what to expect. | Heading, up to 6 steps, Number the steps | | **Social links** | A row of icon links to your social channels. | One address per channel (Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, WhatsApp, Website), Icon style, Icon size, Alignment | | **Custom HTML** | Your own design, for advanced users. | Your HTML (styles, images and SVG work; scripts are blocked for safety) | **Step 3: Fill In the Widget** Each widget shows the fields for its type, and the page preview updates as you type. For example, for an **Announcement bar**: 1. Type your message in **Your announcement**. 2. Pick an **Icon**, or choose **No icon**. 3. To add a link, fill in both **Link text** and **Where it links**. The link only shows when both are filled in. If you do not tick any, the first four are shown automatically. If a widget is missing something, an amber line under its name in **Your widgets** tells you what to add. **Step 4: Choose Where and When It Appears** 1. Under **Where it appears**, pick a placement: - **Top of page** — a full-width band above everything, under the header. - **Side card** — a card in the side panel, under the booking summary. - **In-page banner** — a banner below the step’s content. - **Full-width banner** — a banner stretching the full width of the page. 2. Under **When it appears**, leave **On every step** selected, or click **Only on certain steps**. 3. If you chose **Only on certain steps**, click each step or store page the widget should show on. To show a widget on your store pages, choose **Only on certain steps** and click the **Storefront** pages you want (Memberships, Packages, Shop, Gift card or Product page). **NOTE:** The **Book type**, **Location** and **Complete** steps and the store pages have no side panel, so a **Side card** set to show only there never appears. The panel warns you if you set one up this way. Use one of the banner placements instead. **Step 5: Reorder, Edit or Remove Widgets** Each widget in **Your widgets** shows its placement and the steps it appears on. You can have up to 12 widgets. 1. Use the up and down arrows to change the order. Widgets in the same place appear in this order. 2. Click **×** to remove a widget. 3. Use **Desktop** and **Mobile** to check both layouts.
