How to Add a One-Time Enrolment Fee to a Membership

In addition to the recurring membership price, you can set up a one-time enrolment fee that is charged on the client's first invoice when they sign up. This is useful for covering initial setup costs or onboarding materials separately from the ongoing membership price.

Step 1: Navigate to Setup

Start by logging in to your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the Setup page and find Memberships under the Catalogue section.

Step 2: Create a Membership

Once you're on the Memberships page, click the "Create Membership" button to get started.

Step 3: Insert Details

In the Basics step, add the membership name and description, then scroll down to add the perks clients should receive, such as services, discounts, or credits.

Step 4: Enable the Enrollment Fee

Click Next Step to move to the Payments tab. Set up the Base price, Tax, and Recurring schedule as normal.

Enable the Enrollment fee toggle to charge a one-time fee on the client's first invoice when they sign up. Once enabled, two new fields will appear:

• Fee amount: Enter the one-time fee to charge at signup.
• Tax: Choose the tax rate that should apply to the enrolment fee. This can be set independently from the tax rate applied to the recurring membership price.

The preview panel on the right will show the enrolment fee as a separate line item, labelled ENROLLMENT FEE, charged once on the client's first invoice alongside the pro-rated first membership charge.

Step 5: Finish Setup

Continue through the Payment plan, Location, and When to collect payment? sections as normal, then proceed to the Appearance step to finish customizing and save the membership.
