# How to Add a Day Note in the Calendar

## In this article, we will cover how to add a day note in the calendar. Day notes are useful for leaving reminders, updates, or important information that needs to be visible to the whole team directly from the calendar view.

#### Step 1: Access Calendar

First, [log in to your Pabau account](http://app.pabau.com/), and in the left sidebar menu, click on [Calendar](https://app.pabau.com/calendar).

#### Step 2: Add a Day Note

Hover over the staff member’s name in the calendar. A menu icon represented by three dots will appear on the right-hand side. Click this icon and select “Add a day note.”

#### Step 3: Enter the Note Details

A pop-up window will appear where you can type your note. After saving, the note will appear in the staff member’s calendar for that day. All team members with access to the calendar will be able to see it.

**NOTE:** Day notes are visible to all team members. We recommend using them for general reminders, updates, or important notices rather than private or sensitive information.

#### Step 4: Edit a Day Note

To make changes to an existing day note, you can:

- Hover over the staff member’s name, click the three dots, and select **Edit Day Note**.
- Or, click directly on the note, update the text, and then save your changes.
